I'm all for this trend. Cauchemar, Blood Ceremony, The Devil's Blood, and Jex Thoth all do some great songs. Not really the same style, but Ludicra is a female fronted band that kills all.

Compared to 8 years ago, what is trendy and hip now is a lot better than the scene metalcore shit. We can all breath a sigh relief to be over that embarrassment.
